Best way to clean natural stone every day

1. In the daily use of stone countertops, a mat should be placed under the glass, especially for those containing alcohol or citrus juice, because ordinary food and drinks contain certain acidic substances, which will corrode the surface of the stone and cause the stone to become diseased.
2. Try not to put hot food or utensils directly on the stone to prevent the stone from being scratched after being heated; for floor maintenance at home, you can choose to put a sand filter mat at the entrance, so that you will not bring too much sand into the room when entering the room, and therefore will not cause wear on the stone floor.
3. When cleaning the dirt on the surface of the stone, you can use a few drops of neutral detergent, some stone soap and warm water to clean it; if it is floor cleaning, you should use a clean mop to gently wipe the surface. Remember, detergent and stone soap must not be used excessively during use to avoid leaving some cleaning marks.
4. When cleaning marble or limestone, it is best not to use citric acid, vinegar or other amino acid cleaning agents. After cleaning the stone with stone soap, rinse it thoroughly with clean water and finally wipe it dry with a cloth.

5. In the bathroom or other relatively humid places, you can use a rubber broom to clean it. When using stone soap and cleaning agents, you can reduce the ingredients. Because these places are too humid, the stone is generally more prone to dirt, which requires people to clean it for a long time. Therefore, it is recommended to reduce the amount of cleaning agents used to avoid wear and tear on the surface of the stone.
